Overview
You will architect and ship scalable web applications for a San Francisco-based tech company, owning both PHP backend logic and React frontend experiences. What You'll Do6
- 1Design and implement PHP backend services and APIs to support new features and improvements.
- 2Build interactive and responsive UI components using React and modern JavaScript, ensuring high performance and reusability.
- 3Integrate with REST APIs and manage data flow between the frontend and backend systems.
- 4Collaborate with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases to design schemas and optimize queries for speed and reliability.

- 6Ship new features end-to-end within your first 90 days, from initial design to deployment.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on PHP and React.
- 2Strong proficiency in PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony and modern React.js (Hooks, Context API).
- 3Solid understanding of REST API design and integration, including authentication and authorization.
- 4Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
- 5Familiarity with modern frontend tooling such as Webpack, Babel, and npm.
- 6Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git, and agile development methodologies.
