Pharmacy Operations Manager - Mail Order
Overview
You will lead the pharmacy team at Hims & Hers to dispense prescriptions in a mail-order environment, overseeing a team of pharmacy technicians and operational workflows. You will drive performance, compliance, and scalability in a digital pharmacy setting, collaborating with the General Manager and Ops leaders. What You'll Do10
- 1Oversee all pharmacist tech workflow and operations within the front-end pharmacy, ensuring efficient and accurate dispensing.
- 2Lead one-on-ones and pharmacy team huddles to drive high performance and resolve operational issues.
- 3Enforce state and federal pharmacy regulations for ordering, handling, and managing prescriptions, including FDA and HIPAA compliance.
- 4Support and develop leads and pharmacist techs through initiatives that improve scalability and workflow efficiency.
- 5Execute company and pharmacy strategies, analyzing data on performance, safety, error tracking, and trends.
- 6Coordinate new process development and implementation, collaborating on SOP reviews and updates.
- 7Work with General Manager and Ops leaders to align pharmacist and tech team efforts with business needs.
- 8Maintain security and privacy of protected health information (PHI) per HIPAA regulations.
- 9Update and maintain patient profile records according to state pharmacy regulations.
- 10Promote a clean and sanitary work environment as mandated by the FDA.
Requirements10
- 15-7 years in a pharmacy supervisory role, managing licensed and registered pharmacy technicians.
- 2Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
- 3Active Pharmacist License in pharmacy's home state, or willingness to get licensed there upon hire.
- 4Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
- 5Ability to work flexible shift times, including Wed-Sat 6:30am-5:00pm.
- 6Proficiency in Windows based computer systems.
- 7Ability to deliver and receive feedback effectively to individuals and groups.
- 8Willingness to work in a team environment and promote company culture.
- 9Ability to stand for long periods and lift over 30lbs safely and independently.
- 10Mail Service/Mail Order Pharmacy experience required.
