Overview
You'll protect homes and businesses from pests as a Pest Control Technician in the Charlotte, NC area, servicing 14-20 locations daily. You'll learn pest control and sales through hands-on training, working outdoors in all conditions. This role demands physical endurance and a sales mindset, offering growth for those who embrace challenges.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet customers and treat properties for common pests following Go-Forth and state procedures.
- 2Remove webs, apply granules, and mix chemicals per label and regulations.
- 3Educate customers on prevention and quote termite services when activity is found.
- 4Request service reviews and document details in FieldRoutes CRM.
- 5Drive a company vehicle to 14-20 services daily, following traffic laws and policies.
- 6Identify and sell additional services and products, including door-to-door prospecting.
- 7Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols for chemical handling.
- 8Work assigned territory, completing routes efficiently and accurately.
- 9Operate a company vehicle, meeting all MVR and age requirements.
- 10Attend training and apply in-house methods for pest control and sales.
Requirements10
- 1No prior pest control experience required; full in-house training provided.
- 2Comfortable working outdoors, under houses, and in confined spaces.
- 3Must be self-motivated, responsible, and dedicated to quality work.
- 4Strong communication and customer service skills.
- 5Ability to thrive in a coaching and feedback-driven environment.
- 6Ability to work Monday through Saturday; overtime eligible.
- 7Valid driver's license and MVR standards met.
- 821 years or older to drive company vehicle.
- 9Preferred: high school diploma or GED.
- 10State pesticide applicator license required upon or shortly after hire (company-supported).
