What You'll Do8
- 1Complete scheduled pest control treatments at 40-50 stops daily, using hand tools and vehicle-mounted equipment to apply products safely.
- 2Assess entry points and conditions at each property, then choose the right treatment for ants, roaches, spiders, rodents, and other pests.
- 3Document each service using a tablet-based app, capturing notes and photos for property records.
- 4Communicate with customers in English and Spanish, explaining treatments and answering questions about prevention.
- 5Balance route efficiency with thorough inspections, hitting 100% of stops by the end of your shift.
- 6Follow safety protocols for chemical handling, equipment calibration, and protective gear, complying with EPA and state regulations.
- 7Upsell additional services like termite control or exclusion when you spot issues, targeting 10% of weekly revenue from add-ons.
- 8Handle customer escalations on the spot, resolving concerns about pets, plants, or re-treatment needs.
Requirements8
- 12+ years in customer service, ideally face-to-face with homeowners.
- 2Fluent Spanish and English, with the ability to explain technical procedures.
- 3Valid driver's license for 3+ years and a clean driving record.
- 4Willing to pass a criminal background check and drug screen including THC.
- 5Comfortable working outdoors in Austin heat and on your feet for 8+ hours.
- 6Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry treatment tanks up stairs.
- 7High school diploma or GED; pest control license is a plus but not required.
- 8Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, with a positive attitude toward routine work.
