What You'll Do11
- 1Resolve guest staff and operational issues equitably while designing training programs for service excellence
- 2Maintain high service standards through coaching and focus on priority areas per performance
- 3Foster inclusive environment supporting guest care and operational updates
- 4Ensure public spaces meet Metropolitan Opera standards with clean accessible areas
- 5Conduct pre-show briefings covering performance details audience needs and safety protocols
- 6Troubleshoot and document event-day incidents addressing guest concerns and operational challenges
- 7Prepare nightly performance reports and track staff payroll compliance
- 8Stay updated on emergency procedures accessibility practices and event operations
- 9Coordinate with NYPD FDNY Lincoln Center and partners during performances
- 10Manage union staff or understand collective bargaining agreements
- 11Solve problems communicate effectively and follow reporting lines
Requirements9
- 13-5 years experience in cultural entertainment hospitality venues managing public teams
- 2Understanding of venue operations guest safety and ADA requirements
- 3Comfort with mobile devices ticketing tools and digital access solutions
- 4Experience with union staff or collective bargaining agreements preferred
- 5Ability to remain calm under pressure in high-volume environments
- 6F-03 and F-04 certifications required
- 7Proficiency with Tessitura or similar ticketing systems and Microsoft Office
- 8Physical stamina to stand majority of shift
- 9Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
