What You'll Do8
- 1Apply clinical nursing knowledge to ensure patient safety and comfort
- 2Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care
- 3Assess physiological and psychosocial needs of patients
- 4Implement nursing interventions and communicate concerns to the healthcare team
- 5Utilize EMR systems and equipment for patient care
- 6Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy
- 7Complete annual continuing education units related to emergency care
- 8Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements9
- 1Associate degree in Nursing
- 2Valid Texas RN license
- 3BLS certification through American Heart Association
- 4ACLS certification within three months of employment
- 55+ years of RN experience or 2+ years in ICU and/or Emergency Department
- 6Completion of 10 CEUs annually in emergency care
- 7Experience with emergency care equipment and supplies
- 8Ability to perform CPR and oxygen administration
- 9Proficiency in intravenous therapy and port access procedures
Salary Insight
$58 - $129k per year
