Overview
The Pelvic Model is hiring a part-time Pelvic Floor Therapist in Los Angeles. This role offers a set schedule from 3:15 pm to 7:15 pm Monday through Thursday. Candidates should focus on providing thorough, thoughtful treatment with clinical autonomy.
What You'll Do6
- 1Provide 1:1 60-minute pelvic health sessions using a whole-body biopsychosocial approach
- 2Perform comprehensive evaluations including external and internal pelvic exams when appropriate
- 3Develop individualized treatment plans targeting function strength mobility and nervous-system-aware care
- 4Complete all documentation without dictation from insurance companies
- 5Collaborate with the pelvic therapy team through case reviews mentorship and ongoing clinical development
- 6Participate in community workshops classes or projects if desired
Requirements5
- 1Licensed PT or OT in California
- 21-2 years of experience in a pelvic health setting
- 3Strong orthopedic foundation
- 4Completion of introductory pelvic health coursework such as Herman Wallace or APTA
- 5Genuine interest in pelvic health and commitment to building a career in the specialty
