What You'll Do6
- 1Assess and Evaluate conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients to determine physical therapy needs
- 2Develop Treatment Plans create individualized therapy plans based on patient evaluations
- 3Provide Therapy deliver direct physical therapy services including exercises and neurological rehabilitation
- 4Educate and Support educate patients and families about therapy goals and create home exercise programs
- 5Collaborate Work closely with occupational therapists speech therapists and pediatricians for comprehensive care
- 6Document Progress maintain accurate patient records including progress notes and discharge summaries
Requirements6
- 1Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- 2Valid license to treat in Utah as a Physical Therapist
- 3Experience in pediatric or neurological physical therapy
- 4Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating pediatric patients focusing on neurological conditions
- 5Compassion for working with children and commitment to patient-centered care
- 6Excellent communication skills effective with children and families
