Pediatric Occupational Therapist | Cortica San Diego
Overview
As an Occupational Therapist at Cortica, you will own a caseload of pediatric patients and lead play-based therapy that builds daily living skills. You will collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Behavior Analysts, and physicians to deliver integrated care. This role includes clinical autonomy and dedicated time for documentation and team meetings.
What You'll Do7
- 1Complete comprehensive OT evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessments within the first 30 days.
- 2Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each child's strengths and goals.
- 3Deliver play-based therapy targeting sensory processing, emotional regulation, and fine motor skills.
- 4Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for integrated care and co-treatment sessions.
- 5Educate caregivers with practical home strategies to support progress.
- 6Maintain documentation and billing that supports high-quality care.
- 7Contribute ideas to strengthen and grow clinical programs.
Requirements6
- 1Current California Occupational Therapy License.
- 2Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- 3Passion for working with children and their families.
- 4Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.
- 5Growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
- 6Experience with pediatric therapy preferred, but strong pediatric foundations encouraged.
