What You'll Do11
- 1Review and upload patient consent forms
- 2Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA requirements
- 3Collect and process patient information accurately while maintaining attention to detail
- 4Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals
- 5Assist with medical records requests and release of information procedures
- 6Maintain inventory of office supplies
- 7Order receive and organize office supplies
- 8Assist with billing related administrative tasks
- 9Maintain accurate logs spreadsheets reports and office records
- 10Perform general office duties such as filing copying cleaning scanning organizing and answering phone calls
- 11Respond to patient inquiries by phone or email
Requirements12
- 1Two-year Associate’s degree required Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2Must type 40 words per minute
- 32+ years of work experience in an administrative capacity
- 45+ years of previous experience in consenting or related position in a medical office facility
- 5Familiarity with Assisted Reproductive Medicine IVF laboratory procedures specimen handling
- 6Similar position experience such as patient intake clerk and patient admissions clerk
- 7Ability to manage organize and reconcile multiple sources of information with accuracy
- 8Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- 9Digitally competent proficient with Office 365 programs
- 10Excellent interpersonal skills a team player
- 11Ability to organize and prioritize tasks work simultaneously on multiple projects and complete documents according to tight timelines and shifting priorities/demands
- 12Ability to discuss IVF laboratory procedures and consents with patients independently problem-solve and grasp new ideas and concepts quickly
