What You'll Do11
- 1Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- 2Obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information
- 3Collect signatures and ensure accuracy of necessary documentation
- 4Log co-pays and fees
- 5Answer and transfer incoming phone calls
- 6Schedule reschedule or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes
- 7Provide patient orientation for safety protocols and facility directions
- 8Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care
- 9Safeguard patient property and Protected Health Information
- 10Maintain professional behavior and respect for patient boundaries
- 11Interact diplomatically with patients families and the public
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- 3Strong multitasking and communication abilities
- 4Medical terminology knowledge
- 5Recent radiology office experience preferred
