What You'll Do11
- 1Pick up and deliver parts to customers satellite stores and vendors while maintaining a professional appearance of the parts department
- 2Follow up with customers to determine additional parts or services needed
- 3Coordinate last minute pickups or deliveries with parts counter people or shipping and receiving clerk
- 4Verify invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up
- 5Maintain accurate logs of daily deliveries and pick-ups
- 6Handle all paperwork and undelivered parts after unloading the truck each night
- 7Perform basic truck maintenance such as fueling oil checks and cleaning
- 8Advise parts manager about major repairs and maintenance needs for delivery trucks
- 9Assist with stocking and posting orders upon arrival to expedite delivery to technicians and wholesale accounts
- 10Own the scheduling process for inventory replenishment and vendor coordination
- 11Drive safely and responsibly to ensure timely and secure transport of parts
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 23 years related experience or training
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 4Excellent organization and attention to detail
- 5Proven ability to solve problems and think logically
- 6Effective time management with multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
- 7Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 8Forklift certification preferred
