Own daily delivery routes across Los Angeles in a bobtail truck, ensuring on-time product drops and safe driving. You handle loading, unloading, and collecting payments on unpaid orders. Work with a small team that manages warehouse receiving and inventory rotation. This role includes freezer work and forklift operation. What You'll Do10
- 1Deliver products to customer locations on assigned routes and verify delivery accuracy
- 2Load the truck each morning and confirm loaded product matches the invoice or bill of lading
- 3Unload products at customer sites and place them as requested
- 4Collect payments on unpaid orders and shipments during deliveries
- 5Inspect the delivery vehicle and perform routine pre-trip safety checks before departure
- 6Pick up product from local vendors and inspect for damage or incorrect items at the time of receiving
- 7Receive unloaded product into the warehouse using a forklift
- 8Check in product and rotate into inventory stock, building pallets per order specifications
- 9Maintain accurate records of packages, materials, and company paperwork
- 10Support food safety plans and daily facility maintenance tasks
Requirements9
- 1Valid Driver's License required
- 2Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or related fields
- 3Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- 4Comfort working in normal warehouse and freezer environments
- 5Experience operating a forklift
- 6High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 7English proficiency preferred
- 8Available for day shifts, Monday to Friday
- 9Must be able to commute to or relocate to South El Monte, CA 91733 before starting work
