What You'll Do9
- 1Drive Company vehicle safely on assigned routes, avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
- 2Load your delivery truck at the branch, verifying parts against the manifest before departure.
- 3Deliver parts to customers, unload, and obtain signatures confirming order accuracy.
- 4Collect payments and manage accounts receivable for COD deliveries.
- 5Process returned parts from customers and update the manifest with proper notations.
- 6Comply with DOT and FMCSA regulations during all driving and loading activities.
- 7Complete required annual training and pass safety certifications on time.
- 8Provide excellent customer service during each delivery and pickup.
- 9Use Outlook, Word, and Excel to record delivery details and communicate with dispatch.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of driving experience, preferably in delivery or warehouse operations.
- 2Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, qualifying for corporate insurance.
- 3Meet DOT physical and testing requirements, including FMCSA knowledge.
- 4Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in tight spaces under vehicles.
- 5High school diploma or GED preferred, plus 6+ months of delivery driving experience.
- 6Proficiency in basic math for verifying orders and handling payments.
- 7Comfortable with Outlook, Word, and Excel for record keeping.
