Parts Associate, Automotive Entry Level at Carvana Indianapolis
Overview
Own parts intake and storage for vehicles at Carvana's inspection center with focus on accuracy and organization. You will receive training and contribute to delivering vehicles on time while supporting a nationwide used-car operation. This role sits in an on site team focused on parts ordering, identification, and stocking. The position emphasizes hands on work, safety, and collaboration to ensure high quality customer experiences.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and record parts requisitions for vehicles and update inventory in real time parts inventory Carvana 6am-3pm overtime
- 2Design orderly storage areas and maintain clean, safe work zones to support fast vehicle processing using tools safety equipment pallets
- 3Lead parts picking and receiving for vehicles to ensure timely availability of correct parts for repairs using barcode scanning ERP system inventory control
- 4Ship parts to appropriate departments or vehicle bays and confirm receipt against orders with attention to accuracy documentation
- 5Own downtime and shift coverage by supporting team members during peak periods with overtime First shift teamwork
Requirements5
- 1Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license
- 2Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- 3Read, write, speak and understand English
- 4Must be able to pass a background check
- 5Able to work in a fast paced production environment and endure variable weather conditions
