You will own the guest coffee experience at our hotel's Starbucks counter, crafting beverages and managing the daily coffee service. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare and serve Starbucks beverages, following recipes and standards for quality and taste.
- 2Greet guests and build rapport, turning routine orders into a welcoming hotel experience.
- 3Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, performing routine cleaning and maintenance.
- 4Handle cash and card payments, balancing the register at the end of each shift.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized counter, seating area, and restroom, restocking supplies as needed.
- 6Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring every drink meets health standards.
- 7Collaborate with hotel staff to manage inventory and order supplies before they run out.
- 8Suggest add-ons and seasonal items to increase average ticket value.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in a food service role, preferred in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting.
- 2Attention to detail, verifying each order matches the guest's request.
- 3Ability to work independently, managing the barista station during solo shifts.
- 4Must be available to work Sundays.
- 5Stand for prolonged periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- 6Lift up to 50 pounds, including bags of coffee beans and syrup cases.
- 7Navigate the hotel premises, including moving between storage and the coffee bar.
