Part-Time Security Professional - Access Control & Surveillance
Overview
You will own access control, surveillance, and foot patrol coverage at a Brentwood, TN client site, ensuring site safety across all shifts. As part of Sunstates Security, a nationally recognized security provider, you join a team that values honor, integrity, and trust. You will work alongside experienced security professionals with direct management support. This shift-based role offers weekly pay at $19.00/hr and a clear path into the broader security operations team.
What You'll Do8
- 1Control access at designated entry points, verifying credentials and enforcing site protocols.
- 2Monitor CCTV surveillance feeds, detecting and responding to security incidents.
- 3Conduct foot patrols of the property, checking doors, windows, and restricted areas for anomalies.
- 4Write clear incident reports documenting daily activities, key logs, maintenance issues, and emergencies.
- 5Enforce site rules, regulations, and emergency procedures with professionalism and tact.
- 6Escalate critical situations to management or law enforcement without delay.
- 7Learn and execute Post Orders and SOPs to handle security directives with precision.
- 8Serve as a visible deterrent and first responder for on-site safety concerns.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- 20-1 years of security or related experience, with a willingness to learn access control and surveillance procedures.
- 3Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clear report writing.
- 4Professional appearance and customer service orientation for interacting with employees and visitors.
- 5Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during assigned shifts.
- 6Must pass a background check and drug screening as required for the security industry.
- 7Availability for part-time hours, including weekends or nights as needed.
