What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with developmental philosophy and DRDP measures
- 2Maintain a warm safe and orderly learning environment that encourages exploration
- 3Create curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond
- 4Track classroom supplies and communicate needs to office staff
- 5Utilize positive discipline strategies consistently
- 6Document observations and analyze data to enhance instructional practices
- 7Communicate daily with parents through preferred methods
- 8Collaborate with directors co-teachers and staff to support program goals
- 9Ensure confidentiality of all client information
- 10Complete minimum three college units and twenty one hours of professional development annually
- 11Adapt program content based on individual and group progress

- 1Minimum twelve ECE units and infant/toddler unit certification
- 2Strong communication skills for daily parent interactions
- 3Ability to lift up to twenty five pounds
- 4Excellent vision including color perception and depth awareness
- 5Commitment to ongoing professional growth and education
- 6Background check clearance with OC community care licensing health screening MMR TDAP influenza TB test and live scan fingerprints
- 7Dedication to supporting diverse backgrounds and cultures within the classroom
- 8Experience with behavioral observation and reporting techniques
- 9Familiarity with DRDP assessment frameworks
- 10Passion for early childhood education and family engagement
