What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, and community settings.
- 2Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA, targeting communication, social, and daily living skills.
- 3Use play-based teaching strategies to engage learners and promote skill acquisition.
- 4Collect and record data on behavior and skill acquisition during each session.
- 5Support behavior reduction using evidence-based ABA techniques.
- 6Collaborate with BCBAs and team members to ensure consistent care.
- 7Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging therapy environment.
- 8Complete 40-hour RBT training and competency assessment with a BCBA.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2Interest in working with children with autism.
- 3Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 4Ability to be physically active (lifting, floor play, movement).
- 5Reliable transportation to clinic and community locations.
- 6Pass a background check.
- 7Willingness to complete RBT certification pathway.
Salary Insight
