
Paralegal & Legal Assistant, Litigation Support
Overview
You will support a client project by managing legal documents and evidence, coordinating with attorneys, and maintaining case files. You will join a consulting team that delivers technology and legal services to government and commercial clients, working onsite in Arlington, VA. What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare legal documents and correspondence, including briefs, pleadings, and subpoenas.
- 2Manage case files and evidence, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.
- 3Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
- 4Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel to schedule hearings and depositions.
- 5Maintain accurate and up-to-date case tracking databases.
- 6Assist in trial preparation, including assembling exhibits and witness lists.
- 7Review and redact documents for privilege and confidentiality.
- 8Support the project team with administrative tasks and reporting.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant.
- 2Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 5Ability to work onsite in Arlington, VA.
- 6Experience in litigation support or e-discovery is a plus.
