What You'll Do11
- 1Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings to guide individualized care plans
- 2Conduct systematic analysis of patient data before during and after hemodialysis treatments
- 3Educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self-management strategies
- 4Administer prescribed medications according to established clinical guidelines
- 5Lead emergency response initiatives when necessary
- 6Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update patient care plans
- 7Ensure proper laboratory specimen collection and coordinate timely processing
- 8Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes
- 9Assist with transplant information sessions and treatment option discussions
- 10Complete required Clinical Advancement Program milestones
- 11Support team efforts in maintaining a safe dialysis environment
Requirements9
- 1Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school
- 2Current state RN licensure with CPR and BLS certification
- 3Minimum 5 years experience in nephrology or acute care settings
- 4At least 3 months specialized hemodialysis experience preferred
- 5Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- 6Strong analytical skills for patient data interpretation
- 7Excellent communication abilities for patient education and team collaboration
- 8Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
- 9Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. and handle materials up to 30 lbs.
