What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct preliminary evaluations including dilation and visual acuity assessments
- 2Perform verbal interviews to gather medical history before exams
- 3Schedule referrals with ophthalmologists and manage follow‑up appointments
- 4Record and maintain patient files in compliance with HIPAA
- 5Answer patient inquiries about medications and treatments
- 6Operate OCT visual field and pachymetry equipment for diagnostics
- 7Document findings and communicate with optometrists via electronic health records
- 8Check CPT codes and process billing for post‑op and office visits
- 9Manage contact lens insertion removal classes and inventory
- 10Perform end‑of‑day schedule wrap‑up and checklist tasks
- 11Clean and organize practice areas to maintain visual appeal
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Industry certifications such as CPO CPOA CPOT
- 3High School or GED qualification
- 4Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- 6Experience with medical terminology related to eye treatment
- 7Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- 8Experience with HIPAA compliant record keeping
- 9Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative communication skills
- 10PC skills including basic office applications
