What You'll Do6
- 1Load and unload furniture equipment supplies and other cargo under supervision ensuring careful handling according to load plans
- 2Protect transported items using moving blankets ratchet straps bins and other approved materials
- 3Properly use inspect and store moving equipment such as dollies hand trucks straps bins and packing materials
- 4Act as a spotter while the driver backs parks or maneuvers vehicles in restricted areas identifying safe parking and loading zones
- 5Maintain professional interactions with supervisors clients and facility personnel assist with delivery documentation inventory verification and obtaining signatures
- 6Keep truck interiors clean organized and safe by storing equipment removing debris and preparing vehicles for the next workday
Requirements6
- 15+ years experience in moving logistics warehouse operations or material handling
- 2Ability to lift carry and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more
- 3Strong commitment to safety professionalism and compliance with company procedures
- 4Reliable punctual and capable of meeting project schedules and deadlines
