
Omics Product Analyst, scRNA-seq & FAIR Data
Overview
You will own product analysis for Omics platforms, driving insights from scRNA-seq, bulk RNA-seq, and proteomics data at enterprise scale. You will partner with data engineering and bioinformatics teams to shape FAIR data pipelines and product roadmaps. This role demands translating complex technical data into actionable product decisions. You will bridge Agile development with hands-on data analysis using SQL and BI dashboards. Work onsite in New York with a contract engagement at Sharpedge Solutions.
What You'll Do7
- 1Own the analysis of Omics product features, defining success metrics for scRNA-seq and bulk RNA-seq workflows.
- 2Drive FAIR data implementation across AWS and Azure pipelines, ensuring metadata standards and interoperability.
- 3Translate proteomics data patterns into product requirements, prioritizing backlog items with Agile tools.
- 4Build SQL queries and BI dashboards to monitor data quality and pipeline performance, surfacing anomalies.
- 5Collaborate with bioinformatics teams to evaluate AI/ML models for Omics data, recommending improvements.
- 6Document analysis frameworks and workflows, enabling reproducible insights across product cycles.
- 7Champion user needs by synthesizing stakeholder feedback into Agile stories and acceptance criteria.
Requirements7
- 13+ years experience in Omics data analysis, including scRNA-seq and bulk RNA-seq.
- 2Proficiency in FAIR data principles and metadata schemas for Omics datasets.
- 3Strong analytical skills with SQL and BI dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- 4Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and backlog tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- 52+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and data processing pipelines.
- 6Exposure to AI/ML applications in Omics, such as predictive modeling or clustering.
- 7Excellent documentation and communication skills, translating technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
