What You'll Do9
- 1Plan and develop occupational therapy programs aligned with facility standards
- 2Interpret and instruct on physical therapy policies and procedures
- 3Supervise occupational therapy assistants as needed
- 4Participate in discharge planning and resident care plan development
- 5Conduct resident assessments including MDS evaluations
- 6Maintain accurate treatment records and progress notes
- 7Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic resident care
- 8Implement and oversee therapeutic interventions for diverse patient populations
- 9Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation requirements
Requirements7
- 1Current license and registration as an Occupational Therapist in NY
- 2Valid malpractice insurance coverage
- 3Good standing professional license
- 4Dedication to compassionate patient centered care
