Night Porter, Commercial Cleaning & Floor Care
Overview
You will own nightly cleanliness and upkeep across assigned commercial spaces in Los Angeles, operating Monday through Friday with no weekends and paid major holidays. You will work solo or with a small team, using industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques to keep lobbies, kitchens, restrooms, and meeting rooms spotless. What You'll Do9
- 1Sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors and surfaces in assigned areas each shift
- 2Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, and report supply needs
- 3Empty trash receptacles, transport waste to disposal, and replace liners
- 4Maintain lobbies, kitchens, and meeting rooms to a high standard, including wiping down counters and appliances
- 5Monitor cleaning supply inventory and restock carts or closets as needed
- 6Handle minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or unclogging sinks under supervision
- 7Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- 8Use floor care equipment such as buffers and burnishers to maintain various floor types
- 9Communicate with staff and visitors to address cleaning needs or safety concerns during your shift
Requirements8
- 11+ years in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance
- 2Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and techniques, including floor buffers and autoscrubbers
- 3Proficiency in floor care procedures for VCT, tile, and carpet
- 4Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift
- 5Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- 6Effective communication skills to interact with staff and visitors
- 7Must speak English fluently
- 8MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US
