Overview
You will own nightly cleaning operations across two Sunrise facilities, maintaining a spotless environment for a 25-hour week. This role centers on Janitorial work: disinfecting restrooms, mopping floors, and emptying trash. You will use industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure all areas meet company standards. What makes this role unique is the fixed Monday-Friday 5 PM-10 PM schedule and competitive hourly pay.
What You'll Do9
- 1Empty all trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and sanitize receptacles.
- 2Disinfect restrooms, work areas, and high-touch surfaces with EPA-approved cleaners.
- 3Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using commercial vacuums and mops.
- 4Inspect areas for misplaced items and place them on the nearest table or desk.
- 5Report mechanical issues like broken locks, doorknobs, or light fixtures to the supervisor.
- 6Move cleaning carts and equipment safely, following the designated cleaning route.
- 7Clean elevator lobbies, hallways, and common areas with floor buffers and vacuum cleaners.
- 8Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in working order by checking inventory levels.
- 9Follow all safety procedures for handling chemical agents and waste disposal.
Requirements9
- 16+ months of professional cleaning experience preferred.
- 2Knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- 3Ability to perform general cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- 4Proven track record of maintaining restroom hygiene and sanitation.
- 5Strong attention to detail with a commitment to spotless results.
- 6Ability to follow routines, verbal instructions, and safety protocols.
- 7Reliable and punctual, able to work independently or with a team.
- 8Must lift up to 40 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for full shifts.
- 9Effective communication in English for reporting and coordination.
