Overview
Own nightly revenue reconciliation and guest account settlements at HHM Hotels in Tampa, Florida. You will balance financials, audit cashiers, and reset systems for the next day while handling front desk duties. Work closely with the front office team to ensure guest satisfaction and accurate reporting. This role offers a clear path to Front Office Supervisor or Accounting Clerk.
What You'll Do9
- 1Balance revenue and settle accounts nightly using BRAINS and Excel.
- 2Audit and reconcile cashiers, credit cards, and all financial transactions.
- 3Prepare and distribute daily reports for management review.
- 4Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network.
- 5Check guests in and out, performing all Guest Service Agent tasks.
- 6Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints to improve satisfaction scores.
- 7Maintain room availability records and guest accounts, manually or via computer.
- 8Transmit credit card data on a timely basis to ensure accuracy.
- 9Practice safe work habits and wear protective equipment as required.
Requirements6
- 1High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 21+ years night audit or accounting experience required.
- 3Proficiency in Excel and strong arithmetic skills.
- 4FSD certification required within 90 days of hire (or must obtain).
- 5Ability to stand, walk, lift 25 pounds, bend, and reach.
- 6Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary Insight
$33 - $37k per year
