Network Engineering Manager at Motion Recruitment Partners
Overview
Lead network engineering initiatives across the organization at Motion Recruitment Partners, overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects and ensuring high availability of IP/MPLS and optical networks. Drive improvements in network performance and reliability while mentoring senior engineers. This is a full-time onsite contract role.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and implement scalable network solutions using Juniper Cisco Nokia platforms to support enterprise growth
- 2Own end-to-end IP/MPLS and optical networking architectures including BGP ROADM DWDM
- 3Lead migration of legacy systems to modern carrier Ethernet frameworks
- 4Drive automation of routine tasks through scripting with Python and orchestration tools
- 5Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute major system upgrades and outage recovery
- 6Establish monitoring and alerting strategies to maintain network health and SLA compliance
- 7Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous learning within the engineering team
- 8Analyze traffic patterns and optimize routing policies to reduce latency and improve throughput
- 9Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to align network roadmaps with business objectives
Requirements8
- 15+ years experience building and maintaining complex network infrastructures
- 23-5 seasons leading large engineering projects
- 3Expertise in Juniper Cisco Nokia hardware and AWS cloud integration
- 4Proficiency with Spark Airflow for ETL pipeline development
- 5Strong understanding of BGP OSPF IS-IS protocols and ROADM standards
- 6Certified in AWS Certified solutions
- 7Familiarity with Kubernetes container orchestration for network services
- 8Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrated through 90-day project outcomes
