Network Engineer II, AI & Cloud Networking
Overview
Own enterprise network design, operation, and automation at scale within a global technology distributor. You will work on LANs, WANs, SD-WAN, and cloud networks, partnering with cross functional teams to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across data centers and cloud environments. This role emphasizes AI enabled monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement to service delivery. You will join a collaborative team that values integrity and customer success.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build network automation solutions using scripting APIs orchestration platforms and infrastructure as code to improve operational efficiency
- 2Design implement and integrate enterprise data voice wireless and cloud network architectures for reliability and scalability
- 3Monitor network performance traffic and resource utilization to ensure high quality transmission and availability
- 4Identify diagnose and resolve network failures performance integrity and security issues to minimize downtime
- 5Develop and maintain AI enabled monitoring models and workflows for anomaly detection predictive analytics and root cause analysis
- 6Install configure secure and troubleshoot network hardware software and supporting infrastructure
- 7Collaborate with cross functional teams to incorporate automation AI into service management and business workflows
- 8Evaluate hardware software and cloud service capabilities and provide recommendations based on business and technical requirements
- 9Establish secure network environments by applying cybersecurity governance and compliance controls
- 10Document automation scripts AI models and operational standards and share knowledge across teams
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2Typically 3+ years building networks with Cisco equipment and cloud networking environments
- 3CCNP or equivalent education and experience
- 4Experience with Python and infrastructure as code tooling such as Terraform or Bicep
- 5Knowledge of SD-WAN and cloud networking technologies
- 6Strong troubleshooting skills for network failures and performance issues
- 7Familiarity with security controls and regulatory requirements
- 8Ability to work onsite in Phoenix AZ
- 9U.S. citizenship or eligible work status as required by ITAR
