Overview
Owns backend development for .NET applications at scale within a multi cloud environment. Collaborates across the stack on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC to deliver reliable software. Works with Kubernetes, AWS or Azure, and modern .NET tech in a fast paced contract setting. This role offers hands on architecture input, code quality ownership, and close collaboration with DevOps and platform teams.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain .NET applications with focus on performance and reliability
- 2Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to automate software delivery
- 3Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure and implement IaC with Terraform
- 4Coordinate with DevOps and platform teams to ensure system stability and scale
- 5Implement containerization with Kubernetes to run microservices in production
- 6Improve observability through metrics, logging, and tracing to support incident response
- 7Collaborate on architectural decisions and contribute to code reviews and best practices
- 8Migrate legacy components to modern .NET Core and cloud native patterns
- 9Write clean, tested, and well-documented code to meet project milestones
- 10Stay updated on cloud and container technologies to drive continuous improvement
Requirements10
- 16+ months contract experience
- 2Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core
- 3Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms AWS or Azure
- 4Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- 5Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- 6SQL and Postgres experience
- 7Strong collaboration and communication skills
- 8Onsite work in New York, NY or Stamford, CT
- 9Ability to work in a fast paced contract environment
- 10Familiarity with Git and Git workflows
