.Net Developer, ASP.NET & C#
Overview
Build and maintain Windows and web applications with the .NET Framework in a hybrid role based in Basking Ridge, NJ. You own API development and production support for an enterprise environment handling Oracle PL/SQL data. Join a team of 10 engineers collaborating closely with product and QA. This role offers direct exposure to a full product lifecycle, from design to deployment, within a Fortune 500 client's ecosystem.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and implement RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#, supporting high-volume transactions.
- 2Refactor legacy .NET Framework components to .NET Core, improving maintainability and performance.
- 3Write complex Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures and optimize queries for data-intensive processes.
- 4Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate React components with backend services.
- 5Troubleshoot production issues, debug code, and deploy hotfixes with GIT version control.
- 6Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for C# and SQL standards.
- 7Develop automated tests for core business logic using NUnit and Moq.
- 8Coordinate with DevOps to containerize services using Docker and monitor with Azure DevOps.
- 9Drive technical design discussions and mentor junior developers on .NET patterns.
Requirements9
- 16+ years of experience in Windows/web application development with .NET technologies.
- 27+ years of hands-on C# programming, including ASP.NET and .NET Core.
- 33+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL writing complex queries and stored procedures.
- 4Proficiency with GIT Repos for version control in a collaborative environment.
- 5Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 6Experience with REST API design and integration.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Basking Ridge, NJ at least 3 days per week.
- 8Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in both production and development environments.
- 9Local to Tri-State area only (NY, NJ, CT).
Salary Insight
$90 - $105k per year
