Software Engineer (.NET/C#, SQL, Application Support)
Overview
You own the full development cycle for enterprise software, from design and implementation to testing, documentation, and maintenance. You will work with SQL databases and .NET/C# to build and support critical applications. You will join a collaborative team in Parsippany, NJ, reporting to the lead engineer. - 1Design and build new features using .NET/C# and SQL within the first 90 days
- 2Debug and resolve production issues in existing applications
- 3Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality
- 4Document system architecture and API changes for the team
- 5Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- 6Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance
- 7Deploy and maintain applications in a Windows environment
- 8Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience in software development with C# and .NET
- 23+ years of experience with SQL writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- 3Experience with full development lifecycle including design, testing, and deployment
- 4Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in a production environment
- 5Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 6Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders
- 7Experience with application support and maintenance
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
