What You'll Do4
- 1Listen to and compare AI-generated music samples side by side, scoring them on musicality, originality, alignment with the prompt, vocal delivery, and overall mix quality.
- 2Catalog each track in depth—assigning genre and sub-genre labels, mapping its structure, and noting vocal and instrumental features using a predefined taxonomy.
- 3Assess generated song lyrics and vocal performances against reference material to gauge accuracy and quality.
- 4Judge the quality of the music data used to train these models, providing scores that help improve the training pipeline.
Requirements6
- 1Native or near-native fluency in Tamil, plus the ability to understand detailed written instructions in English.
- 2Professional or semi-professional music experience—either on a production track (3+ years as a producer, audio engineer, or mixer) or on a music-and-language track (deep knowledge of the Tamil music scene as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist).
- 3Access to good headphones or studio monitors for careful listening.
- 4Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition is a plus.
- 5Experience writing, performing, or producing released music in Tamil is a nice-to-have.
- 6Broad familiarity with contemporary Tamil genres, sub-genres, and artists is preferred.
