Overview
You will own electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs on movable bridges in Houston Texas. This role scales across large infrastructure projects. It differs by focusing on bridge-specific systems and daily operational challenges.
What You'll Do11
- 1Plan and coordinate mechanical maintenance and repairs on movable bridges including roadway and navigational lighting and fender systems
- 2Assist electricians in maintaining bridge general lighting navigational lighting and repairing electrical systems
- 3Perform monthly routine maintenance of bridge machinery systems such as lubrication of gears couplings bearings motors and filter replacement
- 4Maintain hydraulic hoses pumps motors valves and related components
- 5Ensure continuous bridge operations through scheduled component maintenance
- 6Support Professional Engineers during annual inspections of bridge electrical and mechanical systems
- 7Complete monthly maintenance logs accurately
- 8Clean bridge roadway sidewalks and slopes of trash and debris
- 9Identify and remove graffiti from bridge surfaces
- 10Inspect bridge weekly for hazards and report findings to supervisor
- 11Enforce Ferrovial Services safety policies
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Knowledge of AWS Certified services
- 3Experience with Kubernetes cluster management
- 4Proficiency in React framework
- 5Expertise in Python scripting
