
Mortgage Origination Professional, Bilingual Spanish
Overview
You will handle mortgage origination customer service for a federal client, processing loan applications and verifying documentation. You join a team of 10+ agents supporting Public Trust clearance operations. This contract role runs 6 months with possible extension. You start same-day orientation, typically the first full week of the month. Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred, but not required.
What You'll Do7
- 1Process mortgage loan applications from intake to submission, verifying borrower information and supporting documents.
- 2Communicate with borrowers and lenders to resolve discrepancies in FHA, VA, or USDA loan files.
- 3Update loan origination systems with accurate data, ensuring compliance with RESPA and TILA.
- 4Review credit reports, income, and asset documentation to pre-qualify applicants.
- 5Escalate complex issues to senior underwriters or compliance officers as needed.
- 6Meet daily production targets for applications processed, maintaining a 99% accuracy rate.
- 7Document all interactions in the LOS (Loan Origination System) per federal guidelines.
Requirements7
- 12+ years in mortgage origination, servicing, or loan processing.
- 2Public Trust clearance eligibility (U.S. citizenship required).
- 3High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
- 5Proficiency with MS Office and loan origination software.
- 6Attention to detail and ability to work 8-hour shifts between 7:30am-6:30pm ET.
- 7Availability to start on the first full week of the month.
