Minister - Food Services (Part-Time)
Overview
This part-time role owns the daily food service operations at Lake Mead Christian Ministries, including barista duties, food prep, cooking, and cleaning. You will work under the North/South Kitchen Manager, serving students and staff in a Christ-centered environment. The role demands a servant's heart and a Food Handler's Card. What You'll Do7
- 1Operate the café barista station, handling cashier duties and crafting coffee drinks
- 2Prep ingredients for daily meals and assist with cooking and food line service
- 3Restock inventory and maintain par levels for kitchen supplies
- 4Clean dishes and sanitize kitchen surfaces, ensuring a safe work area
- 5Deliver warm, welcoming customer service to students and staff
- 6Follow all health and safety protocols, including food handling standards
- 7Support the kitchen team with additional duties as assigned
Requirements7
- 1Hold a valid Food Handler's Card from the Southern Nevada Health District
- 2Have kitchen experience, preferably in food service or restaurant settings
- 3Acknowledge Jesus Christ as Savior and display spiritual maturity in daily life
- 4Support the LMCM mission of making disciples and demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit
- 5Believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God and agree with the LMCM Statement of Faith
- 6Attend and actively participate in a local evangelical church
- 7Be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
