Overview
You will own the full weld cycle for off-road parts at Horsepower Automotive Group, building assemblies from CAD prints to finished products. In a fully air-conditioned Phoenix shop, you will produce high-volume MIG welds and handle TIG welding on select assemblies. What You'll Do8
- 1MIG weld steel structures per CAD print requirements at production volume.
- 2TIG weld select assemblies requiring precision and clean finish.
- 3Build complete assemblies from start to finish, including grinding and finishing.
- 4Read product schematics and verify dimensions to specification.
- 5Track daily production build counts and workflow.
- 6Operate manufacturing tools including grinders and cut-off saws.
- 7Inspect every weld to meet quality control standards.
- 8Follow all safety protocols in the shop.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of MIG and/or TIG welding in a fabrication role.
- 21+ year in a production welding environment.
- 3Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, bending, and grinding.
- 4Ability to read CAD prints and product schematics.
- 5Comfortable working 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm) or 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm).
- 6High School Diploma or GED.
- 7Must be 18 or older.
