What You'll Do11

  • 1Conduct comprehensive research and analysis using SIGINT GEOINT OSINT and HUMINT to expose terrorist planning and network structures
  • 2Produce strategic operational analyses of transnational networks including targeting products for special operations
  • 3Drive collection strategies to fill intelligence gaps and support TDY assignments with partner nations
  • 4Deliver national watchlisting updates to TIDE database and provide real-time threat assessments to Pentagon Joint Staff
  • 5Support congressional POW/MIA cases with 24/7 analysis and interagency collaboration
  • 6Create formatted intelligence products adhering to DIA and ODNI standards for tactical and strategic audiences
  • 7Coordinate product development across DIA and IC partners while managing classification and dissemination protocols
  • 8Apply knowledge of collection cycles and source validation to enhance SIGINT GEOINT integration

Requirements11

  • 1Minimum 5 years experience analyzing non-state terrorist actors and their CBRNE capabilities

  • 4Familiarity with ODNI ICD 203 sourcing requirements and 208 writing standards
  • 5Proven ability to produce formal intelligence assessments meeting DIA analytical benchmarks

Geospatial Analyst MID

Amentum Careers Washington DC Onsite Payroll Purpose and Impact: Amentum provides warning and all-source analytical support to DIA’s Defense Combating Terrorism Office to drive DoD policy planning and operational decisions to counter regional and transnational terrorism threats. We conduct mission-critical counterterrorism analysis focused on operational and strategic effects against emerging terrorist threat networks and identities operating globally with intent to harm U.S. persons facilities and interests. Our work includes delivering national watchlisting support to the TIDE database providing expert assessments for the Pentagon Joint Staff and 24/7/365 support to DoD and senior policy decision makers as well as international and interagency partners on predictive threat assessments regarding transnational and regional terrorist threats. Amentum analysts also support the Congressionally-mandated Prisoner of War/Missing in Action cell with analysis collection and 24/7 support to the U.S. government for global hostage threats or events against U.S. citizens. Work Schedule: First Shift – 8 hours per day Essential Responsibilities: Conduct geospatial analysis of objects networks and persons using geospatial tools methodologies spatial-temporal data imagery and social and physical sciences. Exploits imagery vector and other data types to include non-geospatially correlated data to locate identify and map objects in the spatial domain. Provides analysis on but is not limited to terrain mapping route planning and maritime geospatial activity. Produce comprehensive all-source intelligence assessments that provide in-depth analysis on the fate and disposition of isolated detained missing or captured persons in order to support the warfighter and national-level decision makers. Maintain analytical interaction with other members of the intelligence community to address customer requirements support contingency and operational planning. Develop collections requirements to address gaps in reporting. Use research and reporting databases and tools including MARS MIDB ArcGIS RemoteView CHROME and RMT to gather and evaluate reporting. Conduct and participate in briefings and seminars. Possess a working knowledge of systems procedures and methods of analyzing compiling reporting and disseminating intelligence data and/or knowledge of methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data. Interpret and analyze raw data in the production of intelligence from multiple sources to compile collate analyze and evaluate intelligence information to produce intelligence assessments. Clearance Required TS/SCI w/ poly Minimum Education High SchoolGED Minimum Years of Experience 5 years Preferred Qualifications Desired Experience 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years. Desired Education Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Previous CT experience in a national level intelligence agency is highly desired. Desired degree in security or intelligence studies with a recommended focus on terrorism or other transnational security threats. Demonstrates understanding of the 200 Series of ODNI’s ICDs 203 - Analytic Standards 206 – Sourcing Requirements for Disseminated Products and 208 - Write for Maximum Utility. Produce formal written strategic counterterrorism and or all source intelligence assessments products graphics and briefings in accordance with ICD 203 DIA and ODNI standards as appropriate. Demonstrates ability to use research databases e.g. Global Terrorism Database and use quantifiable matrices in a professional setting to prepare written and oral products on complex topics.
