What You'll Do8
- 1Perform environmental monitoring, water sampling, and cleaning verification sampling across manufacturing areas.
- 2Conduct microbial enumeration, organism identification, AET, and method suitability testing per GMP standards.
- 3Evaluate microbiological data and trends to flag contamination risks and recommend corrective actions.
- 4Lead root cause investigations for atypical results and drive CAPA implementation.
- 5Support contamination control programs and cleaning validation initiatives.
- 6Maintain accurate GMP documentation and prepare technical reports for audits and inspections.
- 7Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to resolve microbiology issues.
- 8Train and guide junior laboratory personnel on procedures and GMP compliance.
Requirements8
- 15+ years microbiology experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated environments.
- 2Hands-on experience with environmental monitoring, water testing, and AET.
- 3Proficiency in microbial identification and root cause analysis.
- 4Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA guidance, and ISO standards.
- 5Ability to interpret microbiological data and assess contamination risks.
- 6Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related Life Science field.
- 8Physical capability to work in controlled environments and lift up to 25 pounds.
