MHE Operator 3rd Shift, Cold Chain Logistics
Overview
You will own material handling operations in a climate-controlled cold chain facility, moving 5,000+ SKUs of perishable goods daily. You will operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and forklifts across inbound and outbound docks. Join a dedicated team of 20+ operators, reporting to the shift supervisor. 3rd Shift runs SUN-WED 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM at $20.00/hr. What You'll Do8
- 1Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to put away and replenish pallets in racking up to 30 feet high.
- 2Load and unload trailers with stand-up and sit-down forklifts, ensuring product integrity.
- 3Pick orders using RF scanners and WMS, verifying counts and locations.
- 4Stage and transport products to dock doors for outbound shipments.
- 5Perform inventory movements and cycle counts, correcting discrepancies in the system.
- 6Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and log issues in the maintenance system.
- 7Follow OSHA and GMP standards in refrigerated and freezer zones.
- 8Maintain a clean workspace, sweeping and organizing pallets and debris.
Requirements9
- 11+ year operating reach trucks and cherry pickers.
- 21+ year using RF scanners and WMS for inventory tracking.
- 3Experience with stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and walkie riders.
- 4High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for 10-hour shifts.
- 6Comfort in refrigerated environments with occasional freezer exposure.
- 7Basic math and reading skills for inventory verification.
- 8Commitment to punctuality and reliable attendance.
- 9Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
