Merchandiser Part Time, Retail & Store Displays
Overview
You will own product presentation and shelf appeal at multiple retail locations in Mint Hill and surrounding Charlotte areas. Your role directly influences sales by ensuring products are visible, rotated, and stocked to planograms. You will report to the Merchandising Lead and coordinate with Store Management daily. This part-time position offers flexible weekday shifts, paid mileage reimbursement, and structured onboarding. You will impact local community visibility for America's largest Coca-Cola bottler while gaining hands-on experience in retail merchandising.
What You'll Do7
- 1Fill and rotate products on shelves and displays every visit, following Coca-Cola procedures and special programs.
- 2Move product from backroom storage to sales floor, building displays that meet planogram specifications.
- 3Create and place point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where store policy allows.
- 4Check FASTLANE merchandisers and vendor racks to confirm proper operation and restock as needed.
- 5Organize backroom inventory by stacking product by package and flavor, returning empty pallets, shells, and damaged items.
- 6Build relationships with store personnel by proactively discussing pricing, promotions, and new opportunities.
- 7Document merchandising activities using the company-provided cell phone and report any issues to leadership.
Requirements8
- 1Valid in-state driver's license and excellent driving history with proof of insurance (liability and property damage, $50,000 per person, $100,000 accident, $50,000 property, $500 deductible).
- 2Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and stand for extended periods.
- 3Prior customer service experience in a retail setting is preferred.
- 4Strong interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer expectations.
- 5Proven reliability and independence with minimal daily supervision.
- 6Effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
- 7Critical thinking skills to adapt to changing store conditions and display needs.
- 8Willingness to work in varying temperatures, including coolers and non-temperature-controlled storage.
