Merchandiser based in Dallas TX seeking independent worker to showcase organization and time management skills while establishing retailer relationships. Collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels while supporting seasonal resets and installations. What You'll Do11
- 1Perform service work using a mobile device to restock organize and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the department.
- 2Utilize technology for daily work communication with supervisor report time provide feedback and answer surveys.
- 3Maintain professional courteous interactions with store employees management and customers.
- 4Own entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- 5Support holiday demand through additional days and extended hours including potential weekend work on Valentine's Day Mother's Day and Father's Day.
- 6Participate in department resets involving installations building fixtures relocating card departments and product resets typically two weeks in advance.
- 7Work collaboratively with team members across multiple locations as part of a network of merchandisers professionals.
- 8Navigate selling floor and back stockrooms performing tasks requiring pushing pulling lifting carrying cartons merchandise and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- 9Kneel squat walk stand climb stairs and step ladders as needed.
- 10Demonstrate high energy sense of urgency and ability to manage physically demanding schedule.
- 11Provide assistance with seasonal changes extensions installations and inventory support.
Requirements11
- 1Minimum age 18 years old.
- 2Fluent reading writing and understanding English.
- 3Ability to grasp pull lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- 4Access to digital hand-held device for opening reading documents and interpreting information.
- 5Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores as scheduled.
- 6Prior experience with ETL pipelines using Spark and Airflow for data analysis tasks.
- 7At least 5 years of experience in retail merchandising or related field.
- 8Previous experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale technology.
- 9Strong teamwork and customer service skills demonstrated through previous employment or volunteer roles.
- 10Ability to work flexible schedule with availability before and after major holidays including weekends.
- 11Commitment to maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety protocols in retail environments.
