What You'll Do8

  • 1Room 30+ patients per day and complete the first 30% of their visit workflow.
  • 2Prepare charts for doctors and nurses, ensuring all clinical data is current and accurate.
  • 3Manage insurance pre-authorizations, a core daily responsibility.
  • 4Collect and enter prescription refill information into the EMR system for provider review.
  • 5Assist with light procedures and instrument handling under clinical supervision.
  • 6Draw medications or prescriptions as directed by clinical staff.
  • 7Coordinate with the healthcare team to maintain patient flow and documentation accuracy.
  • 8Support the Infusion department's daily operations, ensuring timely patient care.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years experience in clinical or medical assisting roles.
  • 2Active MA Registration is required.
  • 3Diploma or GED required.
  • 4EMR experience preferred.
  • 5Comfortable handling high patient volume (30+ per day).
  • 6Strong attention to detail for pre-authorization and chart preparation.
  • 7Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.
  • 8Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
