You will own the full revenue-cycle for a growing anesthesia billing office in Tampa, handling insurance follow-up, claim denials, and patient inquiries. You will work on a hybrid schedule with three days in-office and two days remote. You will join a team of specialists who process EOBs and remittances daily.   • 4Correct and resubmit denied claims within 90 days to maximize reimbursement.
  • 5Communicate with patients to resolve billing discrepancies and answer inquiries.
  • 6Maintain clear documentation of all billing activity and compose patient correspondence.
  • 7Adhere to HIPAA regulations in every interaction and data entry task.
  • 8Track unpaid claims and issue timely resubmissions to reduce denials.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years experience in medical billing or a related field.
  • 2Knowledge of EMR and EHR systems.
  • 3High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4Associate degree or certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS).
  • 5Strong customer service with multi-line phone system experience.
  • 6Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
