What You'll Do9

  • 1Build patient care workflows by preparing patients for exams and treatments and documenting vital signs
  • 2Design and perform in office procedures including phlebotomy EKGs and basic treatments while maintaining safety precautions
  • 3Coordinate and manage patient care from pre-certifications to referrals and scheduling and communicate results to patients
  • 4Provide clerical support for medical records billing and documentation ensuring timely processing
  • 5Maintain clean, sterile clinical environments and coordinate equipment maintenance and disinfecting protocols
  • 6Order supplies, manage medication recalls and ensure accurate medication administration
  • 7Develop effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to support patient care
  • 8Onboard and complete orientation activities including simulations as needed
  • 9Collaborate with providers and staff to respond to changing patient health status

Requirements5

  • 1High school diploma or GED
  • 2Completion of an approved medical assistant training program
  • 3Active Medical Assistant Certification (RMA CMA CCMA NCMA)
  • 4BLS certification
  • 5Requires strong computer skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
