Medical Assistant - Golden State Dermatology

What You'll Do14
- 1Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
- 2Ensure all treatment rooms are cleaned and stocked at the end of the workday
- 3Review patient history medication lists and understand procedures to document in EMA
- 4Accurately complete MIPS information in medical records
- 5Assist with scheduling patient tests and treatments
- 6Support dermatology providers during surgeries including excisions and Mohs procedures
- 7Provide front desk assistance by answering phones and scheduling patients
- 8Clean and perform spore testing on autoclave following maintenance schedules
- 9Check medication and sample expiration dates and maintain accurate records
- 10Keep biopsy books slides and pathology reports up to date and record results
- 11Process prescription refills and verify authorizations as needed
- 12Manage pathology and culture logs with responsibility
- 13Demonstrate responsibility in handling sensitive clinical documentation
- 14Maintain high standards of patient care and attention to detail
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in medical assisting
- 35+ years working with EClinicalWorks or other EMR systems
- 41 year certification in CPC Card
- 52-5 seasons of experience with BCBA or similar credentials
