Medical Assistant CMA or LPN for Day Clinic in Minneapolis
Overview
Own clinical and administrative tasks in a busy day clinic serving patients of all ages. You will support providers, manage patient flow, and perform both patient care and clerical duties at a stable daytime schedule. What You'll Do10
- 1Build patient flow by rooming patients and supporting clinic operations
- 2Administer immunizations injections and medications as directed in a primary care setting
- 3Collect laboratory specimens and perform clinic lab tests
- 4Provide telephone and front desk support and handle prescription refills and prior authorizations
- 5Communicate effectively with patients providers and healthcare staff to coordinate care
- 6Perform phlebotomy duties when required and assist with ordering and stocking supplies
- 7Assist with X-ray duties if appropriately qualified and maintain imaging readiness
- 8Ensure accurate documentation and accurate charting in patient records
- 9Support clinical team with supplies management and equipment readiness
- 10Maintain a clean organized and compliant work environment
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (ABHES/CAAHEP) OR qualifying RMA program with required certification
- 3Primary care experience required
- 4Current BLS certification required
- 5Active Minnesota LPN license required for LPN track
- 6Previous clinical-setting experience required
- 7Required credentials must be documented for both CMA and LPN tracks
- 8Ability to thrive in a busy clinic with compassionate patient care
- 9Must be able to work daytime hours with no weekends or on-call requirements
- 10New Hope MN location onsite role with payroll and permanent/direct-hire status
