Medical Assistant, Ambulatory Float Pool at Mayo Clinic
Overview
Own the patient care flow in ambulatory settings at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale. You will support physicians with direct and indirect tasks, participate in the care team, and operate under established care plans. You will collaborate with RNs and other clinicians to meet patient needs and adapt to dynamic clinical scenarios. What You'll Do6
- 1Build patient care tasks under supervision to support the care plan
- 2Support a high quality patient experience and efficient clinic flow
- 3Collaborate with RNs and physicians to deliver care in the ambulatory setting
- 4Maintain documentation and electronic medical record entries with accuracy
- 5Assist in daily operations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- 6Respond to changing patient needs and clinical situations with professional composure
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Graduate from Medical Assistant diploma or associate degree program
- 3Active CMA or RMA or CCMA certification
- 4Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
- 5Experience with electronic medical record systems
- 6Excellent communication skills and teamwork
- 7Flexibility to meet staffing needs and daytime hours
- 8Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations in the work setting
Salary Insight
$42 - $60k per year
