This role involves leading field crews across VA MD DC markets delivering high-quality insulation solutions while ensuring safety and operational excellence.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead and mentor crew members on installation and maintenance of HVAC and piping insulation systems
- 2Conduct pre-planned competency tests to validate technical knowledge and skills
- 3Manage project schedules and coordinate material orders on-site
- 4Drive project success by motivating employees and tracking job completion timelines
- 5Maintain OSHA-compliant work environments through safety training and protocols
- 6Install protective jackets using metal PVC and canvas materials
- 7Collaborate with estimators and project managers to prepare take-offs and schedules
- 8Ensure client satisfaction by meeting strict temperature control requirements in critical facilities
- 9Prepare documentation for REAL ID verification and legal work authorization compliance
Requirements9
- 1U.S. Citizenship required with valid REAL ID
- 2Minimum 5 years mechanical insulation experience for higher pay tier
- 3Supervisory background with 1+ year managing multiple employees
- 4English fluency with optional Spanish proficiency
- 5Physical capability to lift 50-75lbs and perform bending twisting squatting motions
- 6Reliable transportation for travel between project sites
- 7Drug screening clearance available based on project needs
- 8Strong communication skills for effective coordination with field teams
- 9Proven track record of reliability and attention to detail
